Graziano Tecchio

Old World Cooking 

Graziano is the owner and chef of the Downtown Café located in Kingston's  Historic Waterfront District.  He hails from Venice, Italy, where Old School and Farm To Table practices are a long time family tradition.  He learned from an early age how to fish, slaughter, butcher, garden, cook and prepare all foods from scratch.  That tradition carries on at the Downtown Café.

Graziano is a humble community man who enjoys giving the gift of a delicious meal. He learned to touch the hearts of others with guidance from his family at the age of 13. He continues to share years of Venetian tradition with the Hudson valley community at Graziano's Downtown Cafe. He has cooked for Jay Leno, Joan Jett, Los Lobos, Princess Dianna and Prince Charles, The Beach Boys, and many more. It is his goal to give to the community what it gave to him when he arrived in The United States in 87'. He has also cooked for some noticeable community members such as John Eskow, a Movie Writer, and John Sebastian, Lead singer of "Loving Spoonful". An individual and unique meal awaits everyone who shares their time with us!
